Your skin type

This anti-wrinkle cream is made especially for normal to dry, mature or sensitive skin that is more prone to wrinkles. We do not recommend using it if you are under 25 years old and have oily skin. The ingredients in this cream are very nutritious and provide good moisture to the skin. They also protect your face from free radicals and promote the formation of healthy skin cells. Here we will explain the benefits of each ingredient.

Coconut oil

Health magazines have written up and down about virgin coconut oil. This is because the product has many wonderful properties both in terms of food and cosmetics. It is, for example, a wonderful moisturizer, which is easily absorbed by the skin. It leaves you with soft and fragrant skin. This is the main ingredient in this recipe for making your own anti-wrinkle cream. We will also add more ingredients that are specific to the skin type you want to treat.

Beeswax

Beeswax is another of the main ingredients, because it makes the cream thicken. Coconut oil is ideal in cold temperatures, but it melts fairly quickly when it gets hot. That’s why we have some beeswax on top. Beeswax also helps to remove impurities in the skin and tones out dark spots.

Rosehip oil

One of the most important ingredients in this cream is rosehip oil. This is an oil that has become more and more popular in recent years, thanks to its anti-aging properties. It contains a lot of vitamins, fatty acids and antioxidants and can thus stimulate the production of collagen. In addition, it reduces the presence of fine lines and wrinkles.

It fights pimples, stretch marks, dryness, irritation and any side effects from sunbathing. It is also very rejuvenating and helps the skin to form new cells. In the evening, you can lubricate your skin with rosehip oil and let it soak in overnight. During the day it is best to use it in the recipe we are going to give you here.

Vitamin E.

Vitamin E is good for the skin whether you take it as a capsule or have it right on the skin. It also acts as a natural preservative. A great addition to this cream. Vitamin E contains antioxidants and has a rejuvenating effect. It helps protect the skin from free radicals.

Essential oils

The last thing we want in the cream are essential oils. This contributes to a good scent and strengthens the properties of the other ingredients. We especially recommend geranium oil, which is not only excellent for revitalizing the skin. It also tightens the cells and helps the cream smell very good.

3-coconut oil

To make your own anti-wrinkle cream, start by having the following ingredients in a glass bowl:

  • 20 ml coconut oil
  • 30 ml of beeswax

Put the bowl in a hot water bath so that the ingredients are a little more liquid. Use a wooden spoon or ladle to mix them well together. When they are well mixed, take the bowl out of the water bath and add the remaining ingredients:

  • 5 ml rosehip oil
  • 5 ml of vitamin E.
  • 5 drops geranium oil (optional)
  • 5 drops of rose oil (optional)

Mix all the ingredients well and let it all cool. To store the cream for a long time, we recommend that you keep it in the refrigerator. If you live in a very hot climate or do not want to store it in the refrigerator, we recommend that you have 10 – 15 ml extra with beeswax in the cream to make it thicker. If you want your cream to be more liquid, you can add more coconut oil and less beeswax. Do not be afraid to experiment with other amounts or ingredients. Maybe you will find new ways to fight fine lines and wrinkles.
