While being alone in our own silence can be daunting, conscious isolation is sometimes necessary to resolve our internal conflicts and find ourselves again.

Conscious isolation is isolation that a person chooses voluntarily, because it is something they need or want. But there are some who see it as a negative thing, or a strange situation with which they completely disagree.

In the society we live in, isolation is not seen as something positive. Because of this, we tend to seek the approval of others, or to trust our partners.

We do not want to be alone, or feel separated from the rest of the world. This is seen as something negative, but in reality, could it be something we need?

To always be dependent on others, and to try to please everyone, simply because we are afraid they will leave us, only makes us exhausted in the end.

However, this is not the worst of the consequences of these types of attitudes. The worst is when we finally realize that we have lost ourselves along the way.

Where is the person from the past that we used to know so well? When did we stop listening to ourselves and start doing what others asked us to do?

With the smallest actions we perform every single day, we have learned to ignore our own thoughts so much that we live completely dictated by those around us.

But there comes a time when we suffer when we are not happy and we do not want to be around friends.

It’s not that other people are toxic. It is our fears, our continual attempts to please everyone, the desire to be perfect that have made our relationship with ourselves toxic. And this is dangerous for our health.

Therefore, conscious isolation helps to find ourselves again. The person we really are, who we left behind, but who we now hope to remain.

A new perspective

Conscious isolation also gives us a new perspective on everything that happens around us.

As we know, we sometimes make decisions that are not beneficial to ourselves, or react to situations in a way that we really should not, because we lack perspective.

Taking this time for ourselves will help us see problems as opportunities, mistakes as lessons and people as mirrors that tell us about ourselves.

Having reached this point, we realize that conscious isolation must occur when there is something in our lives that needs a solution.

It could be because you have fallen into depression, you do not manage your relationships well, or because you have fear in you that you do not face.

With all this  , there must have been a disconnection with our true self. It is therefore important that you find yourself again.

Because, even though we may be looking for help, we know that the solution is within ourselves. We just have to set aside time and listen to ourselves.

The answer is always inside us, but sometimes we just need a little push to help us.

But changing the things we want in relation to ourselves is entirely our own responsibility.

When we have a problem, we sometimes forget to treat and take care of ourselves. This is because we are waiting for other people to do it for us. But we do not realize that we must begin to be the ones doing it for ourselves.

We are always worried about other people, and we do not spend enough time worrying about ourselves. Maybe it’s because we think it will make us seem selfish.

But when conscious isolation calls, it is because we need some time to concentrate on ourselves, and no one else.

Conscious isolation helps us prioritize our own lives, take care of ourselves and listen to ourselves when we have lost a lot of time and forgotten who we are.

Spending time alone can be a very positive way to look at a situation from a new perspective, to break away from emotional dependence, or to alleviate the pain.

Avoiding conscious isolation when we feel and need it would be a mistake. Our fear, like the fear of losing someone, should not control us.

Our well-being must always come first.
