Rights you must give yourself for emotional growth

Let’s talk about emotional rights. You may have never heard of them. In fact, you do not learn about them at school, and your parents may not have bothered to share them with you.

Emotional rights are important ingredients for having a happy and balanced life. They are made up of freedoms and emotions that can heal you during difficult times.

What we all know is that most of the time people focus on their external existence. You care about getting along with other people. It’s better when you offer the best of yourself to the world.

But why not start by looking inward now? Believe it or not, but this is how you have a true awakening: look inward to be more free on the outside.

Today we suggest that you discover five rights you can give yourself to promote personal growth. Start implementing them today. In fact, you only need two things to achieve this:

Courage and the desire to be happy.

5 rights for your emotional growth

We get permission from work to go to the doctor, or to solve bureaucratic problems. Sometimes you have to let yourself have simple ideas, like going out with friends, buying a book, getting a new dress, going for a walk alone late in the day…

Now… what are the rights to happiness? When was the last time you said “I’m going to be happy” to yourself? We know that it is not easy, it is difficult to break free from obligations to do what you want.

However, the key is balance, and above all in giving yourself permission to love what you do. Stay tuned for these five important things.

1. I give myself the rights to be who I am, and I do not want to change for anyone

You may be surprised at this, but people often change because of their external influences. Sometimes a relationship can become stormy and complicated, which limits many of an individual’s characteristics.

  • You cease to be who you are to become someone else’s shadow. You forget to take care of yourself. In the end, you will live with more fear than hope.
  • Do not change who you are to anyone. Defend who you are, your values, your inner beauty. Give yourself permission to celebrate who you are, without having to sacrifice anything.

2. I give myself the right to feel and understand myself

This happens very often: you feel frustrated, angry with someone else, hurt or disappointed. But instead of dissolving in this emotional knot to arrive at a solution, you keep it gnawing in the depths of your heart.

  • We pretend that nothing happens, that “everything is fine” when, in fact, it is not.
  • Do not do this – give yourself permission to feel and understand, to untie this knot and to be healed. Having emotional freedom is important for building your happiness.
  • On the other hand, you need to understand the fact that what you feel and that you know how it can affect certain things and people, allows you to know yourself much better. Allow yourself to go into the depths of your darkest places so that you can bring them into the light to heal them.

There is no doubt that something will force you to face much of your fears and many of the unresolved issues that have been dragged out to the present.

Give yourself the right to search for what you want

Before you start looking for what will make you happy, you need to know what you want. It’s interesting, though

  • Give yourself permission to find inner peace. Do not let anyone make you bitter or force you to do things that do not fit your values.
  • Give yourself permission to make every day valuable. Regardless of the fact that you have commitments and tasks, give yourself an hour or two to yourself where you can do whatever you want.
  • Set goals you want to fight for: have short- and long-term dreams.
  • Focus your life so that every time you open your eyes in the morning, your dreams force you to keep going, force you to fight.

4. Always maintain the right to your own opinion, give yourself the right to express yourself

Do not be quiet – practice sincerity every day of your life. Only in this way will you feel that your emotional balance which is what you think and feel is in accordance with what you do and say.

5. Give yourself the rights to close some chapters

Ending cycles and closing chapters is not exactly easy. In fact, many people refuse to do so. They believe that it is better to be silent, that it is better to persevere and be in a dynamic that makes them unhappy because that is all they have.

Do not do this: give yourself the right to be happy and able to leave what does not support you, what hurts you, and what does not suit you.

Close chapters and say yes to the changes that come for the better, because they will give you new opportunities to be happy. Choose to grow from the inside to be happy on the outside.

Allow yourself these five rights from today.
